247’ the first locally assembled tractor was introduced to
Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe yesterday at the Parliament
complex premises. Here Gampaha district MP Edward Gunasekera drives
the tractor to demonstrate its features. Ministers Dr. Jayalath
Jayawardhana, Johnston Fernando, Lakshman Seneviratne and Deputy
Ministers Sagala Ratnayake, Indika Bandaranayake and Colombo
District MP Jayantha Ketagoda were also present. Ministers Karu
Jayasuriya, Milinda Moragoda, Suranimala Rajapakse, S.B. Dissanayake
and the proprietor of Samarakoon Tractor Industries Chinthaka
