After many centuries of exile the Sri Lankan Royal Family returned to Sri Lanka! This explains the continued existence of The Peking Hotel on Lipton Circus (De Zoysa Circus) which once got done for serving stir fried cat! The Chinese family believed to be descendants of King Parakramabahu VI arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport early yesterday. Pictured from left are Shih Chih Chua ( daughter), Prince Shih Lai Fa , Shih Chia Hua (daughter) Shih Chia Hsu (son) and wife Shih Hsiao Kuan. It is believed that the king had sent his son Ba Lai Na as an envoy to China, where he settled down there after marrying a Chinese girl of Persian origin.
